On the Fourth Day of Christmas....

A Zutter Zister gave to me.....Christmas tags to accent the gifts I'll be giving at Christmas this year.

I started with Graphic 45 Christmas Past Tags.....then used my Bind It All to punch holes that I embellished with ribbon....my Rivet Hole Punch Tool and Setter to create accent holes....oh the possibilities are endless!!!

So, pull out some old Christmas cards, wrapping paper....or whatever you can put your hands on!! And create, create, create!!!

I am TOTALLY looking forward to seeing your creations......So upload your picture to Zutter Zisters . You will have until Midnight December 14th to upload your creations to be eligible then link to here.

Fold a piece of cardstock in half to create background tag.

Adhere tag to front of tag and then punch hole through tag.

Feed ribbon through and staple.

Paint sky with Stickles.

With Smooch....accent rooftops.

I then punched holes around the edge with my Rivet Hole Punch and accented with Bling.

I came across an AWESOME picture of my mom and I on my 46th B-day. My husband felt I needed a PARTY after all I had been through with my brain surgery!!! He's a keeper!!

Whoo hoo...

OK Girlies....here is the first sketch for the Capture These Sketches DT....and I couldn't wait to create a layout...even though it's not my team...I STILL HAD TO PLAY ALONG!

The sketch was created by Ann...

So, of course, there is a story behind my layout....wouldn't be me otherwise!

My mother in love sent me some pictures of my kiddos with Pop! (my husbands dad). You see....Pop passed away 2 years ago...right around Christmastime. Needless to say, the pictures made me cry as they were both taken with Pop in their very younger years...I was spending the day at a Croptopia event in Morrisville, VT to benefit the Lamoille Area Cancer Network, what better time to create this layout. Boy, I had fun with this one to say the least....enough of my ramblings...here it is!

For the layout I used:
PAPERS by Basic Grey - Wassill and
Little Yellow Bicycle.
Don't you just love the flower...here the link to the instructions.

Chipboard by Fancy Pants painted with
Distress Crackle Painted, "Tarnished Brass".

Sheet music from a vintage Hymnal.

American Crafts - Thickers

Ranger - Distress Ink

Tattered Angels - Glimmer Mist - Gold

So....play along with us at Capture These Sketches...leave a link on the blog, so everyone can see your AMAZINGNESS!
