love a good FLOURISH!!!
and so do the teamies at Simon Says Stamp and Show Challenge...........
The Flourish I used is a Sizzix die called Vine with Leaves. I cut flourishes using Paper Stash and Glassine paper. I brushed on Peeled Paint Distress Stain and dabbed on a little Peeled Paint Distress Stickles.
She nestled them behind her removable fabric corsage created using a Flower Die, various fabrics,Mustard Seed, Wild Honey, Rusty Hinge, Scattered Straw, and Barn Door Reinker Mixtures and accented with a Vintage Trinket.
She colored a piece of seam binding with a mixture of Barn Door and Aged Mahogany for a droooopy accent. The leaves were cut from Crinoline using her Tattered Leaves die which she colored using Peeled Paint
The card base is also from the Paper Stash, punched and inked!! What a wonderful card/gift for a special friend!!

Simon Says Stamp!
If it's colour, a lush flower and a hint of grunginess then it has your name on it! Love the corsage and vibrant colours - it's glowing. Fabulous piece.
ReplyDeleteVery pretty and I love the way you have combined great strong colour yet still managed to make it look faded and old. Great achievement.
ReplyDeleteA perfect florish and a wonderful flower.
