.........and which one is your favorite???
The teamies of Simon Says Stamp and Show
want to know!!!

My favorites change with my mood.....which is ALL THE TIME!! so I chose not just a stamp but a collection....
Hero Arts ~ Real Garden Petals!! because my mood is ALL ABOUT green growing things!!
Flowers.....Flowers and More Flowers.....

I created a Grungepaper Rose, a video tutorial is available, and highlighted it with Terra Cotta ~ Dimensional Pearls and colored it a Wild Honey Reinker Mixture, Wild Honey Reinker and Mini Mister

A little bit of stamping, some Rock Candy Distress Crackle paint and a Metal Corner....oh the BEAUTY.

I wanted to share a bit of a tutorial on "Watercolor Stamping"

I inked the stamps with Wild Honey, a bit of Peeled Paint and Forest Moss Distress ink.

I mixed up some Pearl Water Reinker, Mini Mister, Perfect Pearl of choice (a bit heavy handed) and water.
Then I spritzed the inked stamps with the Pearl Water and stamped onto my paper of choice.

With my Heat it tool, I dried the image.

See the shimmery yumminess of the Perfect this technique.

So.......peeps.....pull out a stamp or two and HAVE SOME FUN!!

Any thing goes........

and what fun I had with this challenge!!  ANYTHING GOES this week at Simon Says Stamp and Show!

I recently acquired the Big Shot and a new die by Sizzix......and's a floral die....the Flower's 3D. So I pulled out some Linen and Crinoline and a few of my other to go to dies......Tattered Floral and Tattered Leaves, along with a few of my other Sizzix dies and began cutting.

Now, before I could begin the coloring process I SOOO needed to reorganize my Mini Misters and replenish my supply of Distress Reinker Inks! I pulled out my handy dandy Mini Mister Organizers and set about my task.

Phew....glad I got that I could begin the fun stuff!! I made a few of the 3D out they can be addictive!!

I cut the leaves from Crinoline and colored them with Bundled Sage and Peeled Paint. When dry I fold over the bottom of the leaf and staple to give the leaves dimension.

I adhered all the flowers to a piece of chipboard with Multi Medium and added a bit of colored seam binding as a finishing touch. Adhered a pin back and the corsage was complete!!

I sooo wish I had brought my camera with me so I could show you how proudly my mom wore this on her jacket as we went about celebrating Mother's Day!!

So........there you have it......ANYTHING GOES!! what comes to your mind?? Can't wait to see your creations!! Don't forget to head on over to the other Teamies blogs for a look see!!

and who wouldn't mind winning this..........??!??!

a day of Love!!!

Mother's Day is right around the corner!!!

and nothing says I LOVE YOU like flowers!
and what better papers to use than
the REMINISCE ~ IN BLOOM collection

I used the Flowers, 3~D die by Sizzix to create the flowers.....
don't you just love 'em!! The stamp is from Hero Arts.
The flowers were created using Crinoline and Distress Reinker Mixtures

A mother is she who can take the place of all others
but whose place no one else can take.

Happy Mother's Day!!!

how about........A HAND??!??!

or SOMETHING WITH that's a challenge!!! at least it was for me!! I had to ponder on it for many a day...then the idea came to me.....use your own that's just what I did!! I traced my hand on a piece of
Plain GrungeBoard and cut it out with my trusty, ever so handy Tim Holtz 'em so much I own two pairs.....hehehehe

I then altered "my hand" with puddles of Distress Ink on my craft mat. Then I inked "my hand" with Mustard Seed Distress Ink. Next, I smeared on some Tarnished Brass Distress Crackle Paint. While this paint was still wet I stamped "my hand" with Jet Black Archival Ink and my gorgeous Hero Arts Flourish Stamp. Lastly, I added some
Rock Candy Distress Crackle Paint!

I then pulled out my Mason Jar full of there I found:
Game Spinners
a Word Key
and some other vintage ditties!!

To finish off "my hand" I added the word "time" made of Alpha Parts and a colored piece of Seam Binding. I adhered then all to my chunky canvas with Multi Medium. The edges were created by misting the canvas edges and dipping the canvas into puddles made of Rusty Hinge Distress Reinker & Water. And there you have it......
