such loverlies!!!

I printed out this picture awhile ago and have been waiting for the PERFECT paper to create with......

WELL....that paper arrived the day before I left for vacation....the wonderful DEVOTION collection  from IOD!! and ooooohhh how I dreamed about creating this layout!! The papers used in this layout consist of:
Rose Vine
Passion
Victorian &
Flutter

When I returned from vacation I had a bunch of Petaloo goodies in my mailbox.....so I pulled out some of the Petaloo AMAZINGNESS..... gotta love the Color Me Collection!!

The flowers used on this layout:

Crocheted ~ colored with Chipped Sapphire
Orchids Loosed ~ painted with Chipped Sapphire
Gypsies ~ colored with Barn Door &
Aged Mahogany
and Rosebuds ~ separated and left uncolored

So.....when today arrived I just couldn't wait to create...

And SEE the wonderful butterfly embellies,
they are also part of the Devotion Collection Shapes.

I finished off the layout with a bit of
Prima bling the perfect addition!!

It was so wonderful to create a layout......
seems like it's been forever and I had
a FANTABULOUS time!!

What a gorgeous piece of art, Lynne! I really love the way you added the buckram flowers over the stamped ones! Very clever and beautiful - I started drooling as soon as I saw it.

I have been meaning to try buckram. I always see it next to the crinoline when I buy my crinoline and I know it's heavier and stiffer than crinoline. Looks like it works fabulous for making the shabby flowers!

Hope you are having a great week.

Hugs,
Linda
