Faith Hope Love

I think I've been through more in the last month
than I ever care to endure again!

Soooo....I spent my time last week
trying to be a bring a bit of organization
to my studio.....
Heaving and Hoooing "stuff"
ALL AROUND!

Can I just say....
I am soooooo EXCITED about some of the things
I have up my sleeve
....just saying!

But yesterday......
I had a "CREATE" day.
No agenda,
no deadline,
no assignment....

The background is complied of
lots of fun things....
Canvas Artboard,
vintage lace,
chicken wire,
dictionary paper,
plaster
and
Embossing Paste.

And there are MANY layers of
Primary Elements
Silk Acrylic Glaze
Gesso
and more
Silk Acrylic Glaze.
I have to say....
it was SOOOO FUN
experimenting with the product
....seeing how it reacted.
OHHHHHH THE LOVE!

I pulled out a bit of Vintage lace
and tied it around the Canvas Artboard.

I then went for a bit of Canvas Corp paper.....
Linen,
Handmade Chipboard
Kraft and White....
and a few of my Die~Namites Dies....
Leafy Branch
PomPom
Field Grasses
and I began diecutting!

NOW......for the COLOR!!
a little bit of
Primary Elements mixed
with Bind & Resist,
some Silk Acrylic Glaze,
a dab of Precious Metal Effect Paint,
and don't forget the Ferro!!

some vintage buttons,
a few fir cones,
 Mini Pearl Daisies
and finished off with....
FAITH
HOPE
LOVE!

Hope you have enjoyed my creation!!

Hi from New Zealand. This is SO beautiful. I'm a ''learning'' mixed media artist and I'm afraid of layering.. which I know sounds really silly. I get the background to a place I love and then sit there going ''hmmm what next or am I going to ruin it''. I can see that you are going to inspire me very much. Oh how I wish I had a die cutting machine!! Big smiles, Philippa
