Playing Along!!!

Had a WONDERFUL day Thursday....
HANGIN' with SCRAPPY friends!

I went to our "Play Date" knowing
I had two projects to do!
And impressed I am....
I COMPLETED 2 PROJECTS!

Here is one of those projects.........

Do you see it??? I used DT member, Lisa Tottle's ~ December Sketch Challenge and Dare.

...the Dare....use Paper Ribbon and or Twine.

Did you know Die~Namites just came out with a NEW LINE OF DIES!!??!?!
Well....I was able to get my hot little hands on a few...

I chose to I use....the Leafy Flowers die. Can I just say it's one of my top 10 faves!!

I began with a Canvas Corp ~ Skinny Card, a piece of E~Flute Kraft, some Burlap, Linen Paper and Jute!

Pulled out my handy dandy Distrezz it All...scuffed up the edges of the paper.

Then it was time to diecut, using a bit of Linen Paper, I cut the Leafy Flowers image.
I then colored the image with Luminarte ~ Silk Acrylic Glaze ~ Olive Vine.
I used that same color on the base Skinny Card.

I added highlights of Viva Colour ~ Precious Metal Effect Paint ~ Mother of Pearl
around the edges of the Flute Paper. I also painted the wooden embellie with the paint.

I topped off my card with a BEAUTIFUL Petaloo Velvet Poinsettia,
a bit of Vintage Lace and JUTE!

I ENCOURAGE you to take a moment from your BUSY DECEMBER schedule
and play along with us!

Every month a new sketch will be introduced....
the sketch can be interpreted as a card, layout or altered piece!
You need to use at least one Die~Namites Die in your creation.
You have until the last day of the month to post your creation on your blog,
with mention of the Die~Namites Die used and a link back to the Die~Namites Dies blog
Link your blog post, using Inlinkz, to the Die~Namites Die blog.
A random winner will be chosen from eligible participants
for a $25 Gift Certiļ¬cate to the Die~Namites Dies.

SSOOOO play along, you never know it could end up being your BLESSED DAY!

I so like that this has a rustic appearance yet at the same time is so elegant.
Very beautiful.
