Shades of Love........

Howdy Peeps.....
Been a while since I've posted here
on my blog....but I have a good one
for you today!!

Over the holidays, I was
pawing through some of my past work
and came across this little lover~ly 12"X12" Canvas
I created back in 2011....

I decided to use it for my inspiration
for this wall hanging I created....

The base of my piece of Wall Art
is a 14" x 30" Burlap Banner by Canvas Corp.

I began by adhering pieces of printed tissue paper
to the burlap banner.

Along with pieces of Deco Mesh, Chicken Wire
and Honey Amber Silk Acrylic Glaze!
I, also, randomly applied Golden Pearl Mica
through a stencil.

Then I began creating hearts.....

using Canvas Corp ~ Printed Canvas ~ Tile
and Canvas Corp ~ Velvet Fabricpage.

a piece of Canvas Corp ~ E Flute Craft
and Canvas Corp ~ Burlap Sheet Unsewn

Look at the Flower cluster I created...
using Canvas Corp ~ #80 Cardstock ~ Kraft
and Black Cardstock.

the next heart was made from
Canvas Corp ~ Printed Burlap ~ Chevron
accented with Vintage Lace.

I had LOTS OF FUN with this heart....
I began with a piece of
Canvas Corp ~ Canvas Sheet Unsewn.

I stamped on it,
sprayed it,
painted on it
dipped it in color...

then adorned it with Vintage Lace
and a flower cluster created from
various Canvas Corp Papers.

Now I have to say.....
Everything on my piece of Wall Art was
colored using a handful of products....
Cinnamon Brown and Honey Amber
Luminarte Silk Acrylic Glaze.
Black Orchid ~ Primary Elements
and
Viva Colour ~ Gold ~ Precious Metal Effect Paint.

I was ALWAYS amazed at how
the SAME color varied when applied to the various fabrics
making the project SOOOO MUCH FUN!!!

I hope you enjoyed my
SHADES OF LOVE ~ Wall Art...
It was a BLAST TO CREATE....
Pull out some of your supplies and experiment....
it is a VERY ENJOYABLE process!!!

The original canvas is cute, but the new hanging is a stunner... brilliant textures and so fabulously shabby rustic!
