Lilacs.....a SIGN OF SPRING!!

Can I just say....to any of y'all who

live in snow country.....

SPRING CAN'T COME SOON ENOUGH

this year!!!

To get myself out of the winter doldrums

I buried myself in creating yesterday....

I was inspired by a Facebook Group ~ Artsy Addicts Challenge
to create with Purple....
2014 Pantone Color of the Year ~ Radiant Orchid!

What better Die~Namites Dies to use than the Lilacs Die!

I cut multiple Lilac images

from TA Frayed Cotton Mistable Paper.

I cut out individual blooms and leaves from
the Lilac image.

I then, colored with the image with

Splash of Color ~ Luminarte ~ Primary Elements

Black Orchid (close right??!?)

along with Nutmeg and Spanish Moss.

I think I could begin to LOVE PURPLE!!

I wanted to share 2 cards I made
from the leftovers of my project I created for
Splash of Color yesterday. 

Using Viva Colour ~ Inka Gold ~ Lava Red and Old Silver

I colored a piece of paper from

 the Cotswald Manor Collection ~ Sentimental.

I then die~cut

Planted Heart

from the colored paper.

I then chose Devotion from the 

Cotswald Manor Collection and die~cut

Love Arrangement

I created spiral flowers from additional papers

in the Cotswald Manor Collection.

I colored the edges of the flowers with

Viva Colour ~ Inka Gold ~ Lava Red and Old Silver.

I used a Viva Colour ~ Magic Transparent Pearl Pen ~ Clear

to accent the leaves and stems of the

Love Arrangement Die~Cut.

Here is the second card I created.

I die~cut Lovely Doily

from the same colored paper.

I accented the die~cut Lovely Doily

with a spiral flower and a few

Mini Pearl Daisies and a bit of Jute
