Hello Everyone....
Thanks for stopping by for our Team Up!!
I don't know if you have seen
Bella Blvd's new collection....
Bella Blvd's new collection....
....an absolutely ADORABLE spring collection!!!!!
so BRIGHT, CUTE and SWEET!
Now, I have to be totally honest....
if you know my style.....
you know, this is way out of my wheelhouse!
But you know I love a good challenge!!
Here is what I came up with!!
For my first project I wanted to stay
clean and simple
(once again.....WAY out of my wheelhouse)
The base for my project is a
and a Shadowbox Layer ~ Square.
I decided to whitewash the box using
I dry brushed on the paint, except for the inside/back,
for a shabby look.
I cut a piece of Bella Blvd's Clouds ~ Clear Cut for the background.
I wanted to raise the Shadowbox Layer
so I adhered cardboard strips together
and adhered them around the edges.
I adhered various Canvas Corp Brands ~ Burlap
to the inside of the Shadowbox Layer
and cut up some wire mesh
and adhered to the outside of the Layer.
I chose a chippie from Hello There
and spritzed it with True Turquoise Glimmer Mist
from the Tattered Angels ~ Calendar Mist Kit ~ Cruising.
I then created leaves and flowers from various papers
Now to a little bit more me....
a messy bessy tag!!
And the Bella Blvd Sweet Sweet Spring
worked WONDERFULLY!!
I created a tag from the Buds and Blooms paper.
I dipped it in sprays from the
Tattered Angels ~ Calendar Mist Kit ~ Cruising.
applied some texture medium,
distressed the edges.
I added some left over burlap
and flowers and leaves I had cut from
the above project.
So I give the Bella Blvd's Sweet Sweet Spring
TWO THUMBS UP!!
Whether it clean and simple or messy bessy
when matched up with Canvas Corp Brands product
I think it's a HIT!
