Misfits........

I had such a hard time yesterday.....

couldn't get my butt off the couch.....
My "get up and go".....got up and went.
When it finally returned....
it had SERIOUS attention issues!!!

I began to go about my Monday morning cleaning ritual...

dishes....
laundry.....
cleaning up my craft area....
putting things away so I could FOCUS
on my assignments.....
but that didn't work so well....
I had created a pile of misfit pieces parts
from projects gone by.....
I began putting my Gelatos away....
and I got side tracked!!

a discarded piece of cardboard.....

a flourish diecut from Linen Paper....
a strip of unused canvas.....
misc flower parts....
left over piece of chocolate jute and vintage lace!!

I pulled out an Horizontal Notecard
from Canvas Corp...
and let the creating begin!!

Using a few Gelatoos....
gold...
butterscotch....
and black!
and a bottle of
Luminarte Radiant Rain
Shimmering Mists....
Autumn Leaf!!
I set about my journey!

what can you make outta those cast off.....
those misfits.....
that you have set aside......
just not having the heart to throw them away!!

Would love to see your creation!!!

Omg I have tons of pieces that I thought I would use then didn't! They are sitting in a tin now! This is a great idea, I always think of using up my scrap papers but I don't always think about those bits of neglected embellies!
I love your creation! Great texture! Love all the layers!

I love when a clean-up leads to a creation. All your parts seemed destined to play together and you've made one gorgeous piece of eye candy, Lynne. Love it!
