Lynne Forsythe...you are here!

So enough about the logistics.... LET THE HOP BEGIN....
If you have arrived here from Peggy Lee Baker's blog,
you are in the right place....
if you have just popped in...
head to Die~Namites Dies blog to begin the hop!!

Here is my creation.....

I used three Die~Namites for my Christmas Canvas.

First I painted 2 pieces of
Canvas Corp Kraft Chipboard Handmade Paper
cut to the size of the Pretty Poinsettia die,
with Carmen ~ Silk Acrylic Glaze
I then die cut the Pretty Poinsettia image.

I applied double sided tape to the back of the
diecut image to keep the "cutout" pieces intact.
Being careful to only "stick" the ends so
I could "mould" the pieces.

I then adhered "moulded pieces" from the other
diecut Pretty Poinsettia image
over the above diecut
to create the ultimate 3~D Pretty Poinsettia.

I then cut 2 each of the Elegant Holly and Holly Branch
from a piece of Canvas Corp Linen Paper.

I painted on a layer of Olive Vine Twinkling H20's
and then went around the edges of Holly
with Rainforest Twinkling H20's to add depth.

Now head on over to Die~Namites Dies blog.

THANK YOU FOR HOPIN’ ALONG WITH US!

Thanks so much for sharing the idea of keeping the die cut pieces by using tape on the ends so they could be moulded...I must remember that trick!! The result is a beautiful flower on a lovely card.
