A Happy Heart

Hi Canvas Corp Brands fans....
just found this in Draft form....
guess I forgot to publish it!!

I am totally in LOVE
with the expanded
7Gypsies ~ Gypsy Moments Collection.

I began by applying a layer of
Multi Medium on a piece of
Canvas Corp Brands Canvas
then placed the backside of Board and Room patterned paper
onto the Canvas and let it dry.

When dry, I spritzed the paper with water
and rubbed off the paper, exposing the striped paper.

I then applied Tattered Angels ~ Amethyst
around the edges of the heart.

Using various dies and
7Gypsies ~ Gypsy Moments Collection
Take Our Breath Away
I cut out leaves and created flowers.

I cut apart one of the quotes from
7Gypsies ~ Gypsy Moments Collection
A Novel Thought.

Canvas Corp Crew

I am sooo EXCITED to be a part of

Canvas Corp Brands CREW!!

For our first assignment,

we were asked to create a 4 x 4 canvas

to best express our creative style.

Here is my canvas.....

my canvas is all about
Texture and Color!!

I have plastic containers that I keep all my
Canvas Corp Brands pieces parts in.

So, I pulled them all out
and chose a bit of Burlap,
some French Script TissueStock.

E Flute ~ Black

and various Black on Ivory patterned papers.

I laid the little pieces out on a 4 x 4 piece of
Canvas Corp Brands ~ Canvas
and adhered them with Multi Medium.

I used The Crafter's Workshop ~ Love Post Stencil

and applied a bit of texture medium, through just the hearts.

I then sprayed randomly

with various Tattered Angels ~ Glimmer Mists....
all over the canvas.

Now, no project would be complete without
a few flowers and a quote,

now would it!!

LIVE LAUGH LOVE....because life is tooo short not, too!!

Laugh, Create, Inspire, Execute

As part of a business class I am taking,
I had to pick value based words from a large list of word, that appealed to me....

then reorganize the words into 4 groups with similar meanings
then choose one word for each group, creating my
4 Most Important Words that represent me....
I chose....

LAUGH

CREATE

INSPIRE

EXECUTE!

As part of the assignment I was told to keep the words
in front of my face....

so I created a canvas

using items from my "MISFITS" stash....

The background of my canvas was created using
TONS of the Crafter's Workshop Stencils and Perfect Paints.

I love using those "cast offs" that never made it onto
other creations....

To bring it ALL TOGETHER,

I sprayed the entire Petaloo flower cluster with
Crushed Shells ~ Glimmer Mist.

I pulled out my stash of Tim Holtz ~ Alpha Parts
for my 4 Words!
