I have to say...this months Technique Kit is A~MAZING...
I had SOOOO much fun glooopin' and glooobin'
spritzing and a sprayin'!

I made a mini album with my Kit.

I colored the beautiful Petaloo flowers with the Gelatoos!!

I did change up the cover in my video a bit.....all good!

Thought I would share this mini I made for my December Zutter DT project. I had created another whole project but in the end I couldn't use it because I chose to submit if for something else....I will share that project when I can!!

ANYWAYS....have you ever had a mini or project or just something you wanted to bind but the edges weren't straight and you just weren't sure if the holes would punch right......well head on over to my blog post on the Bind it All blog for your SOLUTION....it is so easy....you'll say WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT!!

A season of THANKFULNESS......

THE TRUTH......the most important holiday....THANKSGIVING seems to be missed in the whole holiday roundup this time of year. The focus seems to be Halloween, which I can sooo do without, then we hop right into Christmas.

Over at Paper Issues....we are on a quest to SAVE THANKSGIVING!!! 

a good cause if I do say so myself.....

 My creation is a Mini Brag Book!!! just right for all those beautiful pictures of the fall and of THANKSGIVING DAY!!

I created this gatefold mini from an 8 x 8 Canvas Artboard cover cut with the AMAZING Zutter Kutter....dang that thing can cut!!I covered the artboard with a bag (loved the vintage look) and other vintage ephemera. 

I was at it again creating and coloring flowers and leaves (one of them is a prefab by Maya Road) using the Tim Holtz Tattered Floral and Tattered Leaves Die.

The Tim Holtz Corners just added such a wonderful touch to the corners!!

See those yummy torn up edges of the paper.......that would be the FABTACULAR Distrezz It All!!! ohhhhhh....love that look!!
So, put your Christmas creatin' aside for just a moment....and think on it....Thanksgivings not all about ALL THE YUMMY food (don't get me wrong....I can't wait for the mouth festivities to begin) but for being THANKFUL...what are you THANKFUL for???

Oh the fun we had....

This past weekend I spent with my Beacon Buddies at a Scrapbook Weekend. I forgot my camera so no pictures :( sorry. The first class I taught was a 2 page layout titled....Stickers ~ Takin' them up a notch. 

I had 10 wonderful students and OH THE FUN WE HAD. 

We made flowers, pleated, tore and inked paper and laughed real hard!! 

 

The papers and stickers are from the Autumn Forest Collection by Reminisce. I just love this line!!

Here is the second class I taught.....and we got messy. More so than in the first class!!

We used the wonderful Color Me Crazy flowers from Petaloo, lots of Distress Reinker Mixtures, along with the Bind it All and Distrezz it All!!! and OH THE FUN WE HAD!!

Thank you Ladies for a wonderful time.......see you in the Spring!!

Wow...it's AUGUST already!!! where o where has the summer gone....it's been a beautiful one but I've done absolutely nothing but CREATE!!! Now don't get me wrong...it's not that it's a bad thing! Now, beings as it is August it's time for another round of Bind It All projects!!!

I had WAY tooo much fun with this project... you see I discovered Golden Fiber Paste. Oh the fun I've been having with it!! And those flowers...used my trusty Tattered Floral Die and fabric....I know, I know....I've been promising a tutorial and I WILL get it done before the snow flies!! AND do I see my GrungePaper Roses
nestled in there??? by golly I do!! Watch out though, I'm warning you they are HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!!!

AAAAAAHHHHHH!!!

OMW....my head is spinning with all that is going on!!! Not even sure where to begin...so I'll jump right in!!! So in order to not drive everyone crazy with a bazillion different post.....here it goes!!!

BIND IT ALL....I have a post over there!!! my GRUNGE-O-LICOIUS mini wonder I made!!! aaahhhhh I love this mini...all the new Tim Holtz Distress Inks.....my Grunge Paper Rose....the AMAZING "On the Edge Dies"...almost toooo much goodness in one place!!

REMINISCE....there are peeks going up daily on the blog showcasing the new releases for CHA-S....what fun I had creating...layouts, large and small, mini albums.....you will want to make sure you stop by daily and leave a comment to win some FAB goodies!!!

"At the Fair" was created using the Signature Series 3-Dimensional Stickers....spray a bit of Distress Reinker Mixture on the background....some coffee filter flowers...colored with more Distress Reinker Mixtures....a bit of stitching...and there you have it!!!
OH YEAH...let's not forget my can't live without DISTRESS IT ALL!!!

NEW PRODUCT...to me!!! Golden Fiber Paste...Picked it up at a little store ooozing creative GOODNESS called Wingdoodle. I wasn't sure what the product was going to do...or how it was going to work...so when in question....Just give it a try and soooo I did!!!

I decided to use a 4 x 4 canvas by Canvas Corp. I mixed a bit of the Fiber Paste with Claudine Hellmuth's Multi Medium and smeared it on the canvas....I did this right before bed so I wouldn't be tempted to play with it before it was dry....as I am not the patient type!!

Sooooo, when I got up at the crack of dawn, I couldn't wait to play...and play I did...pulled out my Distress Reinker Mixtures and sprayed away....I dipped my linen Tattered Florals in more Reinker mixtures, dried them and painted on some Claudine Hellumut's Multi Medium....and the seam binding......just a bunch of Mist-O-liciousness!!! In about 15 minutes I had created this little altered something or other!!! Soooooo, needles to say I have more canvases drying as I gave this one away to a dear friend who dropped by the store today!!

PS...I sprayed Super Seal over the top of this to protect it from life!!!

Well, enough info for one day!!! off the dream about CREATING!!!

the BIG PARTY is today!

So, TODAY is the big day....my daughter's SWEET 16 Birthday BASH!!!

Yes, her birthday was in August but we find most of her friends are away on vacation at that time and this was the first weekend since school started that we have been able to get a weekend that everyone had off!!

I have always wanted to make a banner...so here it is, this is one of two...it is probably WAY to phrew...phrew...for my daughter...but it is a SWEET 16 PARTY!

The other banner says...Happy 16th...but it's tooooo big to photograph!!

I cut 8" x 6" pieces of paper.

Marked the 6" side at 3" and cut out the triangles. I then decorated the triangles. DON'T throw away the leftover pieces....made something cool out of them....

Using my Bind it All...I punched holes in the tops of the triangles and attached them with ribbon and O-Wire .

Every birthday party requires party hats....and just any ole hat wouldn't do!! So, with the leftover triangles I created this "Sweet 16" Crown!!
