Just wanted to share.....

Thought I would share another of my Reminisce layouts with FLOWERS 

as that is the focus of my blog post over on the Reminisce blog....

I created all of the flowers on this layout!! How much fun it was!!

Pull out some paper and punches and create your own flower bouquet!!

More Prima Fun..........

Do you have papers that you haven't touched or just don't know what to do with but you HAD TO HAVE...well I did and today I used it....my Prima Stitched Mulberry Paper!! In fact, that was asked for the Question of the Day at Let's Capture Our Memories...

Guess what I did with it....I CUT IT UP!! and here is the end result!



I just love this picture of my boy...who is now 14!! When I was gathering my elements for this layout I pulled out an old music book and came across this song...



and it just reminded me of my Douglas, who loves to pick flowers for his Momma!! So, even though this is a "guy layout" I used my Primaliscious flowers!! I chose the Madrigal collection, White and Nocturne, and the Essentials 50, added some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist and oooooooohhhhhh the goodness!


So....there it is!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I did creating it....now off to pick up some pictures so I can create with my AMAZING kit that arrived from Timeless Daydreams today......more LUSCIOUSNESS!!! Stop back by and see my creations!!

ooooh SOME FUN!!

OK....I have to give you a sneak peak.....it was a rainy, snowy, YUCKY day...didn't even want to leave the house...so what a day to create!!

I can only show you a sneak of what I was working on....may even make this into a class...but OOOHHHH the FUN I had working with the Innoscence line from none other than PRIMA!! hehehe we have a whole Prima section right now at Generations of Memories...if you can you've gotta check it out...

The beauty of this collection is it's white-ishness...which means....MAKE IT YOUR OWN COLOR!! and that I did! Pulled out my luscious bottles of Glimmer mist...and it was HEAVEN ON EARTH! Spritzing, dipping and oooooohhhh pure joy!!

So here we are....it's Friday...and can you believe it...it snowed here this morning!! You will have to excuse me for a moment while I jump up on my soapbox....but HOW WRONG IS THAT!!??!!??

OK...so I've gotten down now! hehehe

It's another sketchy Friday over at Let's Capture These Sketches! how fun!! I had this layout, unfinished, just laying around for FOREVER!! just waiting for the opportunity to get to it....and this was just that opportunity!!


Now I need to give credit...where credit is due...that being the FABULOUS heart embellie was made my by AWESOME friend Peggy Baker! which she gave to me! I thought it went so perfectly...pretty paper for my niece and a grungy heart for my nephew!! and one FABULOUS diecut from Ally at Kustom Die Kuts...you should check out her stuff....AMAZING!!!

PS...LET'S CAPTURE THESE SKETCHES is having a DT call....sadly our term is coming to an end and we are looking for new blood!!! What a great group of gals over there...guess I should say up there....Thanks to Tina and Tanya for choosing me to be a part of such a FABULOUS team!!! It has been soooo much fun!! Might be trying out for the team again...whoooo knows?!?!?

Fairytales.......

I was asked to create a birthday party with the new Fairy Tales line from Reminisce. When I received the papers in the collection, Little Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland and Snow White I knew immediately which one I wanted to use....Alice in Wonderland! So off to to my local party and fabric stores, I went, gathering supplies....oh how I love to plan a birthday party...

First...was to create the invitation...


Every party has to have party hats....


And ooooohhhh.....WHERE AM I SITTING??


And we can't forget the decorations!!!


What about the centerpiece?


I had soooo much fun creating this birthday party....just like I did when my daughter was a little girl.....what wonderful memories!!

OK...so this weeks layout has many purposes..to say the least!!

FIRSTLY, I created this layout using a sketch from Let's Capture These Sketches....you need to check out the blog and see all the different takes on the sketch! A big welcome to Mazz...our guest DT'er!! She is the grand prize winner for the month of February...let me tell you....she is AWESOME!!

SECONDLY, I used a kit I got from Timeless Daydreams full of Prima GOODNESS!! I was chosen to move on to Round 3....after completing a challenge on Round 2!! orange, blue, diecut, striped paper!
